Tribute to Francis LECLET

It is with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of Francis Leclet, a dedicated colleague and iconic figure at AGS for over 25 years.
He leaves behind an exceptional professional legacy and the enduring memory of a man of remarkable generosity and kindness.

Photo de Francis Leclet, figure marquante du groupe AGS, reconnu pour son dévouement et ses contributions au développement des filiales en Afrique et dans les Caraïbes.

When Francis joined AGS, he immediately distinguished himself through his in-depth knowledge of Africa and his perfect mastery of the removals business. A relationship of mutual trust was established from the outset, laying the foundations for a collaboration that would span decades.

He brilliantly managed the AGS subsidiaries in Chad, Niger and then Guinea Conakry, before successfully setting up AGS Haiti.

He then managed AGS Burundi, where over a period of eight years, he not only developed the removals business but also established and developed the branch’s physical and digital records management services.

Beyond his professional qualities, Francis was a man of exceptional magnanimity and compassion, which he readily extended to his family, creating an atmosphere of trust and respect around him.

Francis was an executive at the Codem removal company in West Africa. When AGS acquired the company, he stayed with us and helped us greatly to integrate this new subsidiary into the AGS spirit and culture.

The trust and loyalty that bound him to the AGS Group will remain forever etched in our memory. In these sad times, AGS extends its deepest condolences to the Leclet family and all his loved ones.

Francis was more than a colleague: he was a builder, a mentor and a friend who will remain forever in our hearts.
