Historic carbon emissions assessment
Notably, MOBILITAS expanded its collaboration with carbon management platform Watershed to carry out its first group-wide emissions analysis.
Spanning more than 80% of subsidiary facilities – 339 sites across four continents – the exercise primarily served to identify data gaps and review collection processes.
MOBILITAS is leveraging these insights to prepare for the 2025 assessment, which will become the official benchmark for its reduction targets.
New tools to help achieve ESG goals
The group also focused on revising its ESG framework, introducing standardised policies that help subsidiaries contribute to overall ESG objectives, while remaining flexible enough to address local realities.
The updated framework is supported by mandatory training for all staff and a compliance questionnaire. Submitted annually, the questionnaire ensures effective policy implementation and allows Mobilitas to track ESG progress group wide.
Concrete results around the world
Another notable development is the solar installation for the group’s Kenyan subsidiaries, which has cut grid electricity consumption by 71%.
The report also details the group’s numerous social commitments, including vocational training for youth, collaborations with local NGOs, and emergency aid following events like Cyclone Chido in Mayotte.
